Tips For Finding The Right Real Estate Agent

Finding the right real estate agent can be a challenge, especially if you’re new to an area. We’ve put together our top tips for finding the right agent.

1. Ask around. Ask your friends, family members and coworkers who they’ve worked with in the past. What worked for them and what didn’t?

2. Search the top real estate offices in your area. Company websites typically have bios of their agents online. See which one you align with most after doing research.

3. Interview at least 3 agents who have sold things in the area. Gage their knowledge of the neighborhood and learn about their marketing capabilities. It’s a good idea to ask for client references as well. Buying a home is a huge deal! Don’t be afraid to ask a lot of questions.

4. Google. Yes, Google. If you find an agent online, evaluate their online presence. Are they active? What is their personality? Are there testimonials on their website? How much value are they providing?
