Working in Copley is both a blessing and a curse. A blessing because of the food selection and a curse because it’s much more fun to buy lunch than to bring it.
Here’s the lowdown on the best spots for coffee and lunch in Copley Square.
Coffee and breakfast:
Flour Bakery
131 Clarendon St
Their cold brew is to die for and their pastries and breakfast sandwiches are an added bonus.
Thinking Cup
85 Newbury St
Our go-to is the chai latte with almond milk, but their coffee and specialty drinks are delish.
Life Alive Cafe
431 Boylston St
From bulletproof coffee to turmeric lattes, Life Alive has one of the best morning brew selections in Back Bay.
Tatte
399 Boylston St
Their house latte and matcha are excellent, especially when paired with their all-day breakfast.
Pavement
286 Newbury St
If you’re craving coffee and a bagel, head to Pavement for Spanish lattes and drip coffee. They even have a coffee subscription so you can make it at home.
Lunch:
Life Alive Cafe
431 Boylston St
Like we mentioned above, Life Alive is so. good. It has an array of healthy foods like wraps, grain bowls and salads (and smoothie bowls if you’re feeling spicy).
Boloco
569 Boylston St
Boloco stands for Boston Local Company and is the Boston version of Chipotle. You can customize your bowl/burrito or get one of their pre-made choices like the Buffalo bowl or Summer burrito.
GreCo
225 Newbury St
Greek. Heaven. This place is a hidden gem. From zucchini fries to spicy feta, you’ll be back every week.
Anna’s Taqueria
800 Boylston St
This Anna’s location is tucked away in the Pru, but it never fails to dissappoint. Our favorite is the (boujee-ist) super quesadilla: a burrito wrapped in a quesadilla. You’re welcome.
By Chloe
399 Boylston St
By Chloe is all vegan, but meat eaters LOVE this place. They have burgers, salads, dips etc. There’s something on the menu for everyone here.
